Moeen Ali is one of the cleanest hitters of the cricket ball, and though he has retired from international cricket, he is still active in franchise leagues and is a utility player with his all-round skills. He was recently bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and just days after the event, the southpaw has now smashed a fifty against Victoria in Global Super League 2024.

In the third match of the competition, Guyana Amazon Warriors took on Victoria and the CPL runners-up batted first. Moeen Ali opened the innings, and scored a quickfire fifty as rest of the batters failed to get going. Only Shai Hope was the one who batted well, and when those two were going, it looked like Guayana would get a big score. It did not happen. but Moeen Ali entertained the crowd with flurry of shots all around the ground in his usual classy way.

Moeen Ali's All-Round Peformance Goes In Vain Against Victoria

The former English all-rounder scored 51 off 33 balls with 3 fours and 4 sixes. His knock took Guyana Amazon Warriors to 162, but it did not prove enough as Victoria managed to cross the line in the final over of the game. Moeen Ali bowled two economical overs as well and overall he would be happy with his performance on the personal front.

 Moeen Ali has always been a globetrotter and has played more than 350 T20 matches with over 7000 runs in the format. He also has 240 wickets in T20s, and it shows the impact he has made with his all-round skills over the years. He would add depth to the KKR unit in the 2025 season, and their fans would be hoping that he comes up with some special performances.
