Led by Rohit Sharma, India were all set to face Australia Prime Minister's XI in a warm-up match ahead of the second Test against the home team at Adelaide Oval. In the absence of regular skipper Rohit, ace speedster Jasprit Bumrah led India to perfection in the series opener, as the visitors crushed the home side by a whopping 295-run margin. 

However, their preparations for the second Test suffered a massive setback, with the first day of the warm-up game being washed out due to inclement weather conditions in Canberra. 

Rain Washes Out Day 1 Of IND vs PM-XI; Teams To Play 50-Over A Side Contest

Meanwhile, the BCCI has revealed that both teams will face each other in a 50-over-per-side contest on day two of the warm-up match. However, it's worth mentioning that it won't be a One-Day game, as India and Australia Prime Minister's XI will use the pink ball for this contest. 

So, technically, it will be similar to the purest format, giving the Indian players some game time to evolve their game against the pink ball ahead of the second Test against Australia. 

IND vs PM-XI Warm-Up Match Day 2 Timings

The second day of the two-day warm-up match between India and Prime Minister's XI will begin at 9.10 AM IST and 2.40 PM local time. It will be a day-night affair with three sessions and two breaks. While the tea break will be taken after the first session, the players will have a dinner break after the second session.
