Mitchell Marsh is one of the most dangerous cricketers in world cricket and when he gets going, it is quite hard to stop him. He has been bit inconsistent in recent times in ODI cricket though and after a failure in the first ODI against India, he was dropped in the second game. He has made his comeback at Rajkot though and made his intentions clear straightaway with aggressive strokeplay and got to his fifty in just 45 balls.

His opening stand of  78 with Warner in just 49 balls has set the stage for big Australian score and these are great signs for Australia heading into the World Cup. He was brutal against Bumrah in the third over of the game and slammed two fours and a six to put pressure on India. Warner at the other end was also in belligerent mood and before he departed in the 9th over, Warner scored 56 off 34 balls.

Marsh though consolidated nicely and got to his fifty in the 17th over with a punch to sweeper cover for a single. At the time of writing, Australia are building another strong partnership and are 146-1 at the end of 20 overs. Marsh is batting on 53 while Steve Smith is batting on 33 as Indian bowlers are struggling to keep the scoring rate under check.
