Mangaluru Dragons' premier pacer Abhilash Shetty sustained his impressive run in the Maharaja Trophy 2024, as he got the prized scalp of Mohammed Taha in the ongoing encounter against Hubli Tigers at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. His brilliant spell ensured a dream start for the Dragons in this high-voltage contest. 

The incident occurred during the third over of Hubli Tigers' innings when Taha was trying to steady the ship alongside keeper-batter K Shrijith following the cheap dismissal of Karthikeya KP.

Gautam and Shrijith bail Hubli Tigers out of trouble

Despite losing two wickets inside the first three overs, Hubli Tigers have made a remarkable recovery, courtesy of a scintillating stand between KL Shrijith and Aneeshwar Gautam.
