England are set to move on from quite a few veterans who helped them enjoy a terrific run in white-ball set-up in the last five years or so.

According to The Telegraph, Moeen Ali, their vice-captain for a while who was there when they won the 2019 ODI World Cup and the 2022 T20 World Cup campaigns, is the first one to 'be under threat.' Alongside him, Jonny Bairstow, who was also there with Moeen during their epic World Cup win in 2019, is in danger as well in both ODIs and T20Is.

The report added that their age, at present, are not on their side.

"For both players their ages - Moeen is 37, Bairstow turns 35 next month - counts against them," the Telegraph report read.

Further, the report stated that Livingstone, one of the most destructive batters around, will also lose his place from the ODIs. Instead, England will solely use him in the T20Is.

"Liam Livingstone also faces an anxious wait before the squads are announced. He is more likely to regain his place in the T20 squad than in ODIs," the report added.

England's Squad Vs Australia To Be Announced Soon

England will play five ODIs and five T20Is against Australia next month at home. Their squads are expected to be announced later today.

Australia's tour of England will begin on September 11 with the first of the five-match T20I series. The ODIs, on the other hand, will get underway on September 19.
