'Pakistani People Are Great,' India Star Excited To Play Champions Trophy In Pakistan

India's first-choice spin bowler Kuldeep Yadav admitted to being excited to play the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan. 

Notably, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is the official host of the Champions Trophy next year. The cricketing body has released the draft schedule of the tournament, which has also been approved by the International Cricket Council (ICC). 

Meanwhile, India's ace spinner Kuldeep Yadav has expressed his excitement about touring Pakistan for the first time. 

Speaking at an event in Australia, the left-arm wrist-spinner reckoned that it's a cricketer's job to play wherever he is sent. 

He also heaped massive praise on the Pakistani people, showing his keenness to participate in the marquee event in the neighbouring country. 

"As cricketers, we will play wherever we are sent. I have never been to Pakistan before, so I am excited. The Pakistani people are great, and whenever we get the chance, we will definitely go and play there," Kuldeep Was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan. 

Will India travel to Pakistan for Champions Trophy?

Although Kuldeep is eager to play the tournament in Pakistan, the BCCI has yet to receive the India government's approval for touring the country. The ICC has also allocated an additional fund to the PCB for a potential hosting of the tournament outside Pakistan.
