In the 15th match of The Hundred between London Spirit Women and Oval Invincibles Women at Lord's Cricket Ground, Deepti Sharma played a crucial innings, as she scored 44 runs off 34 balls. 

Deepti Sharma played a well-constructed innings and was close to a half-century. Unfortunately, in the 19th over, Ryana MacDonald-Gay dismissed her with a good length delivery on the off-stump.

Deepti attempted to heave the ball over deep square leg but missed, which led to her off-stump being disturbed. Despite missing out on a half-century, her innings was a valuable contribution to her team.

Earlier in the match, Oval Invincibles Women won the toss and opted to bowl first. Marizanne Kapp was the standout performer with a clinical bowling spell that yielded figures of 4 wickets for just 11 runs. 

The South African all-rounder’s accuracy and pace proved too much for the Spirit batting lineup to handle, as she dismantled their top order within the powerplay. 

Sophia Smale and Macdonald Gay also made valuable contributions with two wickets each.

At the time of writing, Oval Invincibles Women have made 72 runs with the loss of three wickets. Paige Scholfield and Marizanne Kapp are present at the crease and they need 42 runs to win the match.
