India Women's captain Harmanpreet Kaur grabbed headlines following her outrageous behaviour during the ongoing ODI fixture against Bangladesh. Kaur, on being declared out, expressed her frustration by smashing stumps with her bat at the striker's end.
The incident took place in the 34th over when India were sitting in the driving seat, placed at 160 for three in pursuit of a modest 226. After Smriti Mandhana got out against the run of play, Kaur and Harleen Deol consolidated the Indian innings, adding 21 runs before the former lost her wicket to Nahida Akter.
After keeping things tight in the first three deliveries, Akter deceived Kaur with a loopy delivery, as she missed out on a sweep shot. However, as Bangladesh appealed for a LBW, the umpire raised his finger, disappointing Kaur, who thought she had edged the ball.
Following the umpire's decision, Kaur hit the stumps in anger before walking back to the dressing room with disappointment written all over her face.

After Kaur departed for 14, Deol and Jemimah Rodrigues negated further casualty before rain interrupted the intriguing battle. Chasing 226, India are 173 for four, with Deol and Rodrigues unbeaten on 67* and 9*, respectively.
