Riding on bowlers' brilliance, West Indies made a dramatic comeback in the post-lunch session of the ongoing second Test against India. While India's lethal opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal departed after scoring flamboyant fifties, West Indies were quick enough to get rid of Shubman Gill and Ajinkya Rahane and put the visitors under the pump. 

After Rohit Sharma was castled by Jomel Warrican, his fellow Mumbaikar and deputy Ajinkya Rahane was knocked over by Shannon Gabriel. Bowling the 51st over, the tearaway West Indian quick cleaned up Rahane by a delivery, which came into him sharply after pitching around the fourth stump line. 

Rahane was undone by Gabriel's pace and movement, leaving the crease for a sloth-paced 36-ball eight, with disappointment written all over his face. 

This was Rahane's second consecutive failure after being reinstated as the vice-captain of the side. The stylish Mumbai batter made a dream comeback to the Test side, amassing some impactful runs in the WTC final. However, he has got a disastrous start to the third WTC cycle, managing two successive single-digit scores on the Caribbean tour. 

However, after his departure, former captain Virat Kohli and veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja have steadied the ship for India, guiding them to 226 for four as of writing.
