Renowned for his excellent batsmanship, Marnus Labuschagne once again had a phenomenal outing with the ball, scalping five wickets in Glamorgan's final game against Somerset at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.

Labuschagne has been clinical with the ball in the ongoing Vitality Blast competition. After Glamorgan posted a mammoth 243-run total, riding on Kiran Carlson's scintillating hundred, Labuschagne weaved his magic with the ball, restricting Somerset to 123.

Among his five wickets, Ben Green's dismissal grabbed the maximum attention, as the leg spinner bowled a ripper to clean him up.

The incident occurred during the 12th over of Somerset's innings when Green was trying to steady the ship alongside Craig Overton.

Skipper Carlson's decision to bring Labuschagne into the attack paid rich dividends, with the spinner castling Green with a peach.

Labuschagne used the crease beautifully from over the wicket to bowl a good length delivery that turned sharply after pitching around the middle and leg stump line.

Green was comprehensively beaten as he tried to nudge it in the leg side. As a result, the ball sneaked past his outside edge to shatter his off-stump.

Labuschagne's fifer resulted in Glamorgan's emphatic 120-run victory. However, they couldn't qualify for the next round, while Somerset will face Northamptonshire in the third quarterfinal on September 5.
