The Mysore Warriors and the Mangaluru Dragons are facing each other in the 10th match of the Maharaja Trophy 2024 at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium. The Mangaluru Dragons have put the Mysore Warriors to bat in the game after winning the toss. 

The Mysore Warriors did not have a great start to their innings as they lost Codanda Ajit Karthik early in the innings. This wicket fell in the 13th ball of the innings off Abhilash Shetty's bowling.

It was a good length delivery that was thrown wide away from the batter. Karthik chased the ball and tried to pierce the off side field with a hard slash. However, he did not get the right connection and only managed to edge it towards the keeper. Krishnamurthy Siddharth, dove to his right and took a sharp catch to the send Ajth Karthik back to the hut. 

The catch was close to the one MS Dhoni took during the IPL 2024 against the Gujarat Titans. The dive by the keeper and the area around which he took the catch brought flashes from the MS Dhoni effort in IPL 2024. 

Coming back to the game, the skipper of the Mysore Warriors, Karun Nair stabilised the innings along with Karthik SU. The duo set the foundation for a big score for the Warriors. 

Karun Nair has looked in a good touch with the bat and has propelled the innings ahead for his team.
