Suyash Sharma, the young leg-spinner was the talk of the town in IPL 2023 because of his crafty tweakers. He played 11 matches for Kolkata Knight Riders that season and is now considered as one of the bright future prospects in Indian cricket. 

He is currently playing in Delhi Premier League for North Delhi Strikers and in his second game of the season, he drew first blood with the wicket of Hiten Dalal.

Central Delhi Kings got off to a decent start with Hiten Dalal playing aggressive brand of cricket. Kings needed a wicket and Suyash on his third ball provided the breakthrough. It was not a good delivery by any stretch of imagination, but Dalal made a mess of it. It was a short delivery on middle and the batter pulled it firmly, but straight to Yash Dabas at deep mid-wicket.

After Dalal, Yash Dhull failed to impress and departed for his second consecutive low score in the tournament. Both North Delhi Strikers and Central Delhi Kings have lost their respective opening games, and would be looking to open their account in this all-important encounter.
