The Mysore Warriors are up against the Mangaluru Dragons in the 10th match of the Maharaja Trophy 2024 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The Mangaluru Dragons won the toss in this game and put the Warrirors to bat.

C Ajit Karthik and Karthik SU opened the innings for the Warriors, but unfortunately their partnership did not prosper. It was broken when they had posted just 14 runs on the board. At the dismissal of Ajit Karthik, Karun Nair, the skipper of the Warriors arrived at the crease.

Nair along with Karthik SU steadied the progress of the Warriors with a 47 runs partnership. This partnership set the tone for the Warriors to look for a formidable total.

Karun Nair is playing a brilliant knock for the Warriors

Karun Nair, who is still out there in the middle at the time of writing, hit a wonderful maximum to Abhilash Shetty. On the last ball of the fifth over, Shetty bowled a shortish delivery at the middle and leg stump line. Nair shuffled a bit across the stumps and played the pick up shot over the square leg region for a beautiful maximum.

The shot from Nair was full off clash and it reminded the fans of the batter's time with the Indian team in international cricket. Notably, Karun Nair is the only other batter barring Virender Sehwag, who has a triple century in the Test cricket for India.

At the time of writing, The Warriors are stationed at 111/3 in 13 overs. Karun Nair is batting at 47 off 26 balls.
