Khushdil Shah Catch - (Source:@ScreenGrab)
The 4th T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand is underway at the Bay Oval. The visitors, who are trailing in the series 1-2, won the toss and opted to field first. The decision didn't go well as the Kiwi openers stitched a fifty-plus runs stand for the first wicket.
Notably, Tim Siefert set the tone as the right-hand batter smashed a quickfire 44 (22), which featured three fours and four sixes. However, Haris Rauf got rid of the New Zealand opener in the 5th over of the match. More than Rauf, the credit for the wicket must go to Khushdil Shah as the star batter took a remarkable diving catch at the boundary ropes.
Khushdil Shah Takes A Blinder
On the 1st ball of the 5th over, Rauf bowled a short-pitched delivery, where he pulled it hard, but Shah dived to his right and took a great low catch to stun Seifert. Following the catch, Khushdil was impressed by his effort and striked a pose for a few seconds for the camera. Watch the effort and wicket here.
Pakistan's Mixed Fielding Standards In New Zealand Series
Pakistan are known for their poor fielding standards in the cricket world. Their fielders have often hogged the internet for hilarious goof-ups. However, in the ongoing series, the Men in Green have displayed mixed fielding standards.
On one hand, Haris Rauf too stunned the Kiwis with a great catch in the 3rd T20I, but Shadab Khan was involved in an embarrassing moment on the field. Talking about the ongoing match, New Zealand are 108/2 and Rauf has taken 2 wickets.
