Royal Challengers Bengaluru stunned KKR in the first match of IPL 2025 as the visitors handed the defending champions a seven-wicket defeat. The hosts, batting first, put 174 runs on the board. In reply, the Rajat Patidar-led side chased down the target in just 16.2 overs. 

It was a frustrating night for the Knights as Harshit Rana too lost his cool on the field. Notably, RCB didn't had a phase of concern and were on-song through-out their innings. It led to frustration as bowlers were getting hit on every side of the park. 

Harshit Rana Screams At Rinku Singh

Meanwhile, Rana too hogged the internet after Rinku Singh made a sloppy effort in the field, and he lost his cool. It was when Rajat Patidar had come to bat, and Harshit went wicketless. Patidar had flicked a shot towards the point and Rinku tried to stop the ball with a single hand, but it raced away for a four, leading to Rana screaming at the top of his lungs. Harshit Rana Had A Day To Forget

It was not a day for Harshit, who was KKR's 2nd best bowler in IPL 2024. Notably, in the recently concluded match, Rana gave 32 runs in his three overs and also couldn't contributed with the bat.

It is worth noting that KKR had the chance to put more runs on the board, but Harshit played three dot balls in a row in the 20th over and Ramandeep Singh was struck on the other hand.
