Dynamic South African batter Heinrich Klaasen played another impactful knock in the IPL 2024 as he struck a magnificent 26-ball 42 with the help of three fours and two sixes. 

However, he couldn't finish the game for Sunrisers Hyderabad, with Harpreet Brar castling him with a beauty. 

The incident occurred during the 19th over of SRH's innings when they were on the verge of a well-deserved victory. However, before Klaasen could finish the game, Brar deceived him with a ripper, shattering his stumps. 

As soon as Klaasen departed, SRH owner Kavya Maran looked tensed as the breakthrough brought Punjab back into the contest. However, she was relieved soon after, with Sanvir Singh finishing the game with a glorious boundary on the first ball of the final over. 

Earlier, Punjab Kings opted to bat and posted a massive 218-run total on the board, thanks to vital contributions from their core batters. 

While Prabhsimran Singh and Atharva Taide shone brightly with the bat, Rilee Rossouw and Jitesh Sharma struck scintillating cameos to help them register a defendable total. 

However, the Kings had no answer to Abhishek Sharma’s fireworks as the Punjab-born batter headlined SRH’s emphatic win with a breezy knock.
