Harshal Patel started off IPL 2024 slowly, but in the second half, he has picked wickets regularly and is currently the 'Purple Cap' holder. In his last game of IPL 2024 against SRH, he again displayed his wicket-taking ability by getting rid of dangerous looking Rahul Tripathi on the final delivery of the fifth over.

It was the first over for Harshal Patel in the match and it turned out to be expensive with 22 runs coming in first five deliveries. The final delivery though was a typical slower one, outside off from Harshal. Rahul Tripathi tried to tonk it down the ground again but miscued it badly and the ball went high in the air towards mid off where Arshdeep Singh took a fine catch.

It was an important wicket for Punjab Kings as SRH were looking unstoppable with both Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi going great guns. The wicket of Tripathi bough relief from atleast one end as Sharma kept going in his merry ways to reach his fifty in 21 balls.

Punjab have 214 on the board, but need to keep picking wickets as SRH have a strong batting line-up capable of taking down any bowling attack.
