The Maharaja Trophy 2024 is heating up was the level of cricket is being surpassed in the tournament with each passing game. The Mysore Warriors are currently engaged in a battle woth the Mangaluru Dragons in the 10th game of Maharaja Trophy at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Karun Nair dominated the Dragons from the very beginning

The Mangaluru Dragons won the toss in this match and put the Mysore Warriors to bat. The Warriors did not have a great start to their innings as they lost their first wicket pretty early in the game. However, after the departure of Codanda Ajith Karthik, Karun Nair arrived at the crease and mesmerized the crowd with a beautiful 100.

The skipper of the Mysore Warriors remained unbeaten on 124 off 48 at the end of the innings. His knock was decorated by 13 fours and nine sixes. Incidentally, Nair brought up his Century with a six in the 19th over.

On the last ball of the 19th over, Rao bowled a full delivery at the middle and leg stump line. Nair moved away from the line and tried to go for the big heave over the leg side. However, he got an outside edge that sailed over the third man fence for a maximum.

Courtesy of Karun Nair's knock, the Warrirors posted a mammoth total of 226/4 in their 20 overs.

Besides the maximum to bring up his Hundred, Nair oozed class throughout the knock. He played some glorious shots and proved why he is one of the two batters to gave a triple Hundred in Test cricket, barring Virender Sehwag.
