Jasprit Bumrah has a reputation for taking wickets at will, and once again, he proved why. After being hit for back-to-back boundaries, Bumrah had his revenge, sending Mehidy Hasan Miraz back to the pavilion.

On Day 4 of the ongoing second Test between India and Bangladesh at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, Bumrah claimed his second wicket. The incident occurred in the 70th over of Bangladesh’s first innings. On the fourth ball, with Mehidy Hasan Miraz at 20 runs off 42 balls, Bumrah struck after conceding two boundaries earlier in the over. Mehidy was dismissed on the fourth ball, marking Bumrah's second scalp of the match.

Bumrah bowled a back-of-a-length delivery just outside the off-stump, getting the ball to move away slightly after pitching. Mehidy, squared up while defending, edged the ball, which landed safely in Shubman Gill’s hands at first slip. The crucial partnership between Mominul Haque and Mehidy was broken. Bumrah’s revenge after the two boundaries was sweet, as he struck again with precision.
