Rohit Sharma does what others can't, and he proved it once again on Day 4 of the ongoing second Test match against Bangladesh at the Green Park Stadium on 30 September. The Indian skipper's stunning catch, a rare feat that left everyone in awe, sent off the wicketkeeper batter Litton Das.

The incident occurred during the 50th over when Mohammed Siraj bowled a good-length delivery outside off. Das decided to take it on, advancing down the wicket and hammering it uppishly towards wide mid-off.

However, he didn't get the required elevation, and Rohit, positioned perfectly, timed his leap just right to take a one-handed stunner. He plucked the ball out of thin air and immediately set off on a celebratory run. Litton Das departed after scoring 13 runs.

Being 37 years old and taking this catch surprised everyone. While Rohit Sharma is often criticized for his fitness and not appreciated as a fielder, what he has done has made the netizens react to it, and they took to platform X to express their admiration for the star batter who took the catch like a Superman.

One of the netizens wrote, “Nothing can ever escape the eagle's eye and Captain Rohit Sharma's hand 🐐” and another user remarked “The fitness level of 37 year old unfit @ImRo45 🐐🫡"

Overview Of The 2nd Test So Far

India started off with a great start against the hosts. However, rain played spoilsport in the match. On Day 1, only 35 overs were possible, and India took early wickets, and Bangladesh scored 107 runs, losing three wickets. The match was affected by rain, and disappointingly, Day 2 and Day 3 were washed out without a single ball being bowled

On Day 4, India started nicely again. The bowlers scalped at regular intervals, and their fielding was commendable.
