They say, catches win you matches! In the second Test against Bangladesh at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, India are making sure that they prove the phrase right. Earlier, Rohit Sharma pulled off a stunning catch of Litton Das and now Mohammed Siraj has produced another stunning effort to get rid of Shakib Al Hasan.

The catch from Siraj came on the final delivery of the 56th over. However, it was not only about Siraj as Ashwin also did brilliantly to beat Shakib Al Hasan in flight. The Indian offie knew that Shakib is ready to charge down the pitch and pulled his length back a bit and bowled it slower through the air.

Siraj Shows Athleticism To Dismiss Shakib

As a result, Shakib who went down the track for a big shot, played the ball early and it went high in the air behind mid off. That's where Siraj came into picture as he ran back, kept his eyes on the ball and timed his back-jump to perfection and grabbed the ball with left hand to surprise one and all at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. The wicket of Shakib Al Hasan was a crucial one for India, and Bangladesh who started Day 4 at 107 for 3, have been reduced to 170-6.

India need to keep taking wicket though and bundle out Bangladesh as quickly as possible to push for a result with only two days remaining in the Test match. It has been a Test dominated by rain so far with only 35 overs possible before the start of Day 4. The game is crucial for both the team with WTC points on the line too, and it would be interesting to see how things shape up with India looking keen to force a result.
