Imad Wasim has not been at his best of form in PSL 2024 but when it mattered the most, he has delivered for Islamabad United with a six and a four in the last two deliveries as Islamabad United chased down a mammoth target of 239. Wasim's heroics brought back memories of Ravindra Jadeja and his heroics in the IPL when he smashed 10 runs in the last two deliveries to take CSK to their fifth IPL title.

The spin-bowling all-rounder scored 30 off just 13 balls with 4 fours and a six and stunned Rizwan and company who would have backed themselves to defend a big target like 239 with the quality bowling they have.

Munro and Shadab Khan set the tone of the run-chase after Islamabad United lost two early wickets. The duo notched up a 141-run stand for the third wicket and in the end cameo from Faheem Ashraf and Imad Wasim took them over the line.

Things looked tough for United after the loss of Faheem Ashraf's wicket on the third delivery of the final over as Abbas Afridi was bowling quite well. He, however, missed the mark a bit on the 5th delivery and Wasim launched it over long off.

The final delivery was also a full one on off and Wasim drilled it straight beating the mid off fielder as the crowd erupted in Rawalpindi.
