Riding on bowlers' stellar performance, Mumbai Indians have pushed Royal Challengers Bangalore on the back foot in the ongoing WPL eliminator at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

RCB Women's captain Smriti Mandhana opted to bat first in the high-pressure game. However, her decision backfired on the side as the defending champions rattled their top-order in the blink of an eye.

The first player to make her way back to the hut was Sophie Devine, who was castled by a beautiful delivery from Hayley Matthews.

The veteran New Zealand all-rounder looked dangerous after she got off the mark with two boundaries. However, her brief stay came to an end in the second over, with Matthews castling her with a ripper.

The veteran West Indies all-rounder kept things tight initially, conceding six runs in her first five deliveries. She finished it off in style, as her sharp turner beat Devine on her defence, shattering her off stump in this process.

Devine's dismissal opened the floodgates for RCB Women, who lost their captain Smriti Mandhana off Nat Sciver's bowling in the following over. Disha Kasat and Richa Ghosh also couldn't impress with the bat, managing low scores in the do-or-die clash.

As of writing, RCB are tottering at 52 for four, with Ellyse Perry and Sophie Molineux batting on 15* and 2*, respectively.
