Riding on Hasan Ali's spectacular bowling performance, Karachi Kings have restricted Quetta Gladiators to 118 in the ongoing PSL 2024 clash.

Following a blistering start by Quetta Gladiators, Hasan Ali brought Karachi Kings back into the contest with two wickets in an over in the ongoing 22nd match of PSL 2024 in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

Saud Shakeel (33 off 28) and Khawaja Nafay (17 off 15) added 47 runs in just 24 deliveries as the Gladiators blazed their way to 67 for one after eight overs. However, the Kings skipper brought Hasan Ali back into the attack, and the decision reaped the rewards.

On the first ball of the over, Ali bowled a slower delivery around the off-stump to Saud Shakeel. In a bid to slog that one for a six, Shakeel hit it straight to the hands of Shoaib Malik, who made no mistake.

Two balls later, he also sent Khawaja Nafay (17 off 15) back to the hut to turn the momentum completely. The Pakistan seamer surprised the Nafay with a bouncer at the right height. The latter went for the pull but mistimed it straight to Muzarabani's throat at long leg.

In the space of four deliveries, Hasan sent both the set batters back to the hut. Here's a look at the video clips of both of these dismissals.

Hasan Ali recorded exceptional numbers of 4 for 15 in four overs, rattling the Kings with his bowling prowess. On 28th February 2024, in the clash against Islamabad United, he became the only second bowler in the history of PSL to claim 100 wickets

Quetta Gladiators are in all sorts of trouble, being all out for 118 runs in 19.1 overs. So, Karachi Kings, who are currently languishing at second from the bottom, need only 119 runs to seal a win and get themselves promoted up in the standings.
