PAK vs IRE: Playing XIs
Pakistan: Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Saim Ayub, Babar Azam (c), Fakhar Zaman, Usman Khan, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Amir, Abbas Afridi
Ireland: Paul Stirling (c), Andrew Balbirnie, Lorcan Tucker (wk), Harry Tector, Curtis Campher, George Dockrell, Gareth Delany, Mark Adair, Barry McCarthy, Joshua Little, Ben White
Both the teams are out of the Super 8 race, but their fans would be happy that they have finally got a weather that is fine for cricket in Florida, and let’s see how the wicket behaves after being under covers for the majority of time in the last few days.
Interestingly, Pakistan have decided to retain their four pacers strategy and that means that Abrar Ahmed will not get a look-in this World Cup. Ireland, on the other hand, have replaced a pacer with a spinner. The Irish boys have not won a single game in this World Cup and given the quality in their side, they would be disappointed with their performance.
Pakistan too have only one win against Canada to show for their efforts, so, Babar Azam and co. would be itching to prove a point in this game.
