Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, widely revered for his calm demeanour and composed nature on the field, is finding peace off the field at his lavish farmhouse in Ranchi.

With his international cricket days behind him, Dhoni is dedicating time to his passions, which include not just his collection of vintage cars and superbikes but also his beloved pets.

The Ranchi-based cricket icon, who only plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL) now, owns five dogs. His pack includes two Belgian Malinois, one named 'Sam,' two White Huskies known as 'Lily' and 'Gabbar,' and a Dutch Shephard named 'Zoya.' These pets they are a significant part of Dhoni's life at his farmhouse.

On the occasion of Father's Day on Sunday, June 16, MS Dhoni’s daughter, Ziva shared a heartwarming video on her Instagram handle showcasing Dhoni indulging in a playful and affectionate time with his dogs.

Both his wife, Sakshi, and daughter Ziva are seen enjoying moments with the family's pets. She captioned the video, “Familia.”

Meanwhile, Dhoni, who has had an unparalleled impact on Indian cricket, continues to be a significant figure in the IPL.

Despite a blistering performance with the bat in the 2024 season, his team, Chennai Super Kings, didn't reach the playoffs.

Speculation about his retirement continues, but no official announcement has been made yet, and fans are hopeful of seeing him in the IPL 2025 season.

It is worth mentioning that last year, Dhoni celebrated his birthday in the company of his dogs and proved that his farmhouse is a haven where he unwinds and connects with nature and his loved pets.
