On his day, Haris Rauf is a brilliant fielder and it was evident earlier in the T20I series Vs New Zealand when he plucked a stunner at short fine leg. However, on Wednesday he missed the simplest of chances on the boundary ropes and allowed Tim Seifert to snatch the game away in the blink of an eye.

Rauf drops a simple catch to give Seifert a lifeline

New Zealand had already sealed the series heading into the fifth game and they only needed 129 runs to capture it 4-1 and their job was made easier by the Pakistan fielders who allowed the game to slip away easily.

In one of the overs by Shadab Khan, he tossed it up outside the off as Seifert unleashed a big shot and went aerial. Haris Rauf was situated at wide long-off as the ball was well within his range, but the Pakistan fielder spilled an easy catch as the ball went past the ropes for a six.

Rauf didn't even had to move an inch, but he couldn't catch the ball and Pakistan's horrendous fielding in the series continued.

New Zealand seal the series, 4-1

This was a clinical chase from the Kiwis as they were without several IPL bound players, and yet, the side thrashed the visitors with utmost ease.

The Black Caps won the first two T20Is rather easily, but Pakistan bounced back in style after chasing down more than 200-runs. However, the hosts responded by winning the final two matches as the caravan will now shift towards the ODI series, with several Pakistan stars being involved in it.
