The Cricket World Cup 2023 has started, and it lived up to its expectations in the second game of the tournament between Pakistan and the Netherlands as a verbal spat happened between the bowler Haris Rauf and batter Paul van Meekeren during the 39th over of the chase. The green team won the match, but not before the Dutch impressed everyone with their talent.

It all started first after the fourth ball of the 39th over was delivered by Rauf, which Meekeren ducked under to generate a furious response from the bowler, who walked upto the batter and exchanged some words with him. In reply, Meekeren reverted with a slash that he played past backward point for a four, a solid comeback from the number 11.

However, his joy was short-lived as Rauf knocked his leg-stump out of the ground to close the game, which celebrated through a fired-up celebration to hand Pakistan a victory by 81 runs.

Even after the game, during the customary handshakes, the duo didn't hold themselves back from having a go at each other, although in a little friendly manner.

Regarding the game, the Netherlands bowled Pakistan out for 286, with Bas de Leede impressing with four wickets. In return, the Dutch started well as they were 120 for two at one stage but couldn't capitalize on the moment, which led to them being bowled out for 205.

After this victory, Pakistan will next go out and play against Sri Lanka on 10th October, while the Netherlands will fight it out against New Zealand on 9th October.
