The ongoing first Test between Australia and Pakistan at Perth witnessed the latter field two debutants, Khurram Shahzad and Aamer Jamal, who were impressive on Day 1.

Jamal, who claimed the crucial wickets of David Warner and Travis Head, continued his good run on Day 2 as well, knocking over the well-set wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey.

Carey, along with Mitchell Marsh, had already guided Australia past the 400-run mark and looked to up the ante.

In the 96th over, Jamal, bowling his 13th of the innings, produced an absolutely peach of a delivery that got the better of Carey and quite possibly could have taken any batter's wicket.

A pitched-up delivery, which Carey pushed forward and ended up missing, as well as slight seam movement off the track, helped the ball beat the outside edge and knock off the off-stump.

After the wicket, Jamal displayed an aggressive celebration, which thankfully was not aimed at the dismissed batter.

Jamal went on to claim his fourth wicket as well, rattling Mitchell Starc's stumps, who scored 12 off 23 deliveries. The 27-year-old had already played four T20Is for Pakistan before featuring in his maiden Test.

The debutant went on to complete his fifer, taking Australian skipper Pat Cummins wicket, and then rounded off an splendid showing by claiming his sixth wicket in the form of Nathan Lyon folding Australia for 487.
