On Wednesday, Australia's David Warner took a spectacular catch while timing his jump perfectly at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, during their World Cup match against the Netherlands.

Earlier in the day, Warner delighted the crowd by smashing a thunderous century at his second home, where he plays for the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League. After that, what he did on the field during the second half of the match left everyone in awe.

The Netherlands' Sybrand Engelbrecht slammed Mitchell Marsh hard towards the deep square leg to score a six. It was all perfectly timed by the Dutch international, but Warner was equally brilliant in converting it into a chance out of nowhere.

The veteran opener closely observed the ball, and just when it came, he leaped and grabbed a superb flying catch.

Neither Mitchell Marsh nor the other Australian players could believe for a second that Warner took that catch. They all were quick to congratulate the veteran, who himself seemed delighted after taking it calmly.
