As one of the finest cricketers ever, David Warner will be remembered for his outstanding performances in his last World Cup in India. The 36-year-old, fondly called the pocket dynamo by his teammates, smacked yet another century in the ongoing edition, taking his total in the competition to six.

In the process, Warner reached Sachin Tendulkar’s tally, who hit six centuries in the World Cups. The only player who has more centuries than them overall is Rohit Sharma (7).

Warner was pumped after hitting a swashbuckling century against the Netherlands. Upon reaching the landmark, the southpaw leaped in joy, as he often does, and then performed a Pushpa celebration.

As of writing, Australia have reached 305/6 after 44 overs, with Glenn Maxwell going strong on 30* off 17 deliveries. Pat Cummins is the other man in the middle, although he is yet get off the mark.
