The high-octane clash between India and Pakistan in the U19 Asia Cup, is turning out to be quite a good game for the boys in Green. They are currently in a very strong position as Indian youngsters are struggling in their 282 run chase. India lost three early wickets and the final one of those was of C Andre Siddarth.

The right-handed batter was recently bought by CSK at 30 Lakhs in IPL 2025 mega auction, and there were high expectations from him against Pakistan. However, in the 12th over, Faham ul Haq, the son of former Pakistan captain Misbah Ul Haq got the better of the Indian batter. He bowled a full delivery, wide of outside off. Siddarth slashed it hard and did not bother to keep it on the ground. The ball went aerially towards right of deep point and Mohammad Riazullah in the deep grabbed a fine catch.

India's IPL Stars Fail To Make An Impression

It was a big blow to India as they had already lost their star openers, Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Earlier, Pakistan batted first and posted a strong total of 281 on the board. It was the knock of Shahzaib Khan that stole the show as he blasted 159 off 147 balls and displayed all the skills to become a superstar in future. It would be interesting to see how India go about their business, but the two youngsters in the squad who bagged an IPL contract have surely failed to make an impact.
