The second ODI between India and Sri Lanka turned out to be a heart-aching experience for the Indian contingent.

A power-powered lineup, like India's, failed to chase a mediocre total of 241 runs as the Rohit Sharma-led side toppled for 208 in 42.2 overs. At Colombo, Indian stars like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer failed to read Jeffrey Vandersay and Charith Asalanka, who shared nine wickets between them.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul got an unbelievable ball from Vandersay as he was dismissed for a two-ball duck. However, it wasn't just that. The Indian keeper had an off day as a stumper as well. Not only did he let go of easy runs, but he dropped a catch from Axar Patel's bowling.

Batting in the middle, Asalanka tried to tickle a ball from Axar Patel down towards fine leg, but it took a faint edge and went past KL Rahul's gloves. Saying the keeper's blunder, even the bowler could not hold his frustration as he reacted with an annoyed face.

Eventually, Sri Lanka notched up a fighting 240-9, thanks to timely 40s from Avishka Fernando and Kamindu Mendis.

After the first two ODIs, Sri Lanka are enjoying a handsome lead of 1-0, and India can only tie the series at best.
