In the 20th match of The Hundred Women at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, on August 7, Bryony Smith of Trent Rockets Women showcased her batting prowess reminiscent of India's Virat Kohli. 

London Spirit Women won the toss and opted to bowl first, setting the stage for Smith's impressive shot.

Opening the innings, Bryony Smith started off in style with a boundary that drew comparisons to Virat Kohli's iconic cover drives.

On the very first ball, Smith faced a fullish delivery outside off. Demonstrating excellent technique and timing, she drove the ball perfectly through the cover region, bypassing the fielder to earn her team four runs. This shot set the tone for her confident start.

Smith's innings, however, was cut short as she was run out at the non-striker's end after scoring 34 off 22 balls. Despite her early departure, her knock laid a solid foundation for the Trent Rockets Women. The highlight of the innings came from Grace Scrivens, whose half-century bolstered the team's total.

Scrivens' significant contribution ensured the Trent Rockets Women posted a competitive target of 159 for London Spirit Women to chase.
