Southern Brave Women's captain, Georgia Adams, exhibited her incredible fielding skills, as she grabbed a one-handed stunner in her side's latest The Hundred 2024 encounter against Welsh Fire. Her valiant effort send Welsh Fire's premier all-rounder Hayley Matthews back to the dugout.

The incident occurred during the eighth set of Welsh Fire Women's innings when they had already lost the prized wicket of Sophia Dunkley. 

While Tammy Beaumont kept the scoreboard ticking at one end, Hayley Matthews struggled to get going, taking 15 balls for a solitary run before being dismissed. 

Her forgettable stay in the middle was finally put to an end by Adams, who held on to a spectacular catch. 

As Tilly Coleman tossed it up around the middle stump, Matthews danced down the track for an attacking shot to break the shackles. 

However, he effort went in vain, with Adams timing her jump to perfection and claiming a sensational one-handed catch. 

Nevertheless, Matthews' dismissal had a little impact on Welsh Fire Women, as they cruised to victory with ten balls to spare. 

Earlier, Southern Brave Women could muster only 84 runs on the board. While Smriti Mandhana departed for a duck, skipper Adams top-scored for her side with an 18-ball 17.
