In the the third 3T20I against Afghanistan in Bengaluru, Rohit Sharma played a brilliant knock of 121 from 69 Balls. This innings stands as his fifth highest number of sixes in international cricket. Notably, this match ended in a tie as both India and Afghanistan scored 212 runs in this game in their 20 overs. The match rolled on to the second super over, where India eventually managed to win it.

This historic knock by Rohit Sharma earned him a place in the record books. In the fourth ODI vs Sri Lanka in 2014, Sharma scored 264 runs off 173 deliveries. This innings was decorated by nine sixes which is the fourth most by Rohit Sharma in an innings in international cricket. Also, this is the highest score by any batter in an ODI innings. 

India posted 404/5 in their 50 overs powered by Sharma's knock and won the match by a massive margin of 153 runs. 


3. 10 vs Sri Lanka - 2nd T20I at Indore on December 22, 2017

In the second T20I during the series in 2017, Rohit Sharma scored 118 off 43 deliveries and set up the foundation for India to post a big total. The Indian team managed to reach a mammoth total of 260/5 in their 20 overs. In reply, Sri Lanka were bundled out for 172 as India won the game by a convincing margin of 88 runs. Sharma hit 10 sixes in this innings and it is his third highest in an international innings.

In the home series against Sri Lanka in 2017, Rohit Sharma played an epic knock in the 2nd ODI. He scored 208* off 153 deliveries and helped India reach a massive total of 392/4 in their 50 overs. During his stay in the middle Sharma hit 12 sixes making this the second highest number of sixes hit by him in an international innings. India managed to restrict Sri Lanka to 251 in the match win by a margin of 141 runs. 

1.16 vs Australia - 7th ODI at Bengaluru on November 02, 2013

During the 7th ODI in the home series of 2013 versus Australia, Rohit Sharma scored one of his three ODI double hundreds. He scored 209 off 158 balls, and the innings was decorated with 16 sixes. This is the most of number of sixes that Rohit Sharma has hit in an innings in International cricket. Notably this is also the third highest number of sixes hit by any player in an innings of International cricket. 

India managed to score 383/6 in their 50 overs and then restricted Australia to 326 winning the game by 57 runs.
