India have made a dramatic catch against Sri Lanka in the third and final T20I vs Sri Lanka at Pallekele. The Indian team batted first in the game and struggled to put a healthy total on the board. 

Shubman Gill and Riyan Parag were at the centre of the batting effort by the Indian team. Besides the stabilising knocks by the two players, Washington Sundar also played a cameo to take India to a fighting total of 137/9 in their 20 overs. 

The home team had a solid start to the chase as their opening duo stitched a partnership of 58 runs in 8.5 overs. Pathum Nissanka was the first wicket to fall in the SL innings. However, Kusal Mendis and Kusal Perera stitched together another 50-run partnership and put the team in the driver's seat.

India needed a miracle to comeback into the game from this stage and Ravi Bishnoi decided to put his hand up for the team. First he picked up the wicket of Kusal Mendis and then put in a brilliant effort in the outfield to dismiss Wanindu Hasaranga. 

On the third delivery of the 17th over, Washington Sundar tossed up a ball outside the off stump to Wanindu Hasaranga. The batter cleared his front leg and tries to heave the ball away over the fence on the leg side. 

However, Hasaranga only got a top edge that was taken by Ravi Bishnoi after he ran to his left from deep square leg and put in a diving effort. It was a brilliant effort by the young Indian player and helped the team keep their hopes alive in the game.
