Well, that's it from our side. Another exciting contest came to an end, where we saw Sri Lanka dominate for the majority of the game before Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh pulled off a miracle turnaround.

Suryakumar Yadav (Player of the Series and India Captain): "I think more than the last over, I feel when we were 30/4 and 50-5, the boys showed great character and the way they batted was great. When we were going on the field, I told that I have seen such collapses and if we can put heart and mind into it for the next one and half hour, we can pull it off.

You would have seen them bowl. But I think the amount of skill that they have and the self-belief that they have makes my job easier. I still remember that after the first two games, I told that some of the guys will have a rest. Some boys came up and said that they can have the rest and the others can have a chance.

Washington Sundar, who bowled brilliantly for 2-23 and scored a precious 18-ball 23, has been named the Player of the Match award. 

"All the work I have done till the end. All the blessings from the God has helped me. I tried to stay calm. Thanks to Surya to throw the ball to me to bowl the Super Over.

Very grateful to get an opportunity to play for my country. I just try to work hard every single day and the God will also be kind with me.

We did a bit of homework against their batters. There was some purchase from the surface. I just had to hit the right lengths often and the things worked in favor of me."

Riyan Parag (India): "To be honest, I was little disappointed because I had to bat till the end and we could have got 160. Me and Shubman were talking to take it deep and then take it on and push past 150.

The plan was to keep it simple. You can get carried away when the ball is turning. I just had to hit the right areas. Rinku bhai and Surya bhai in the end were fantastic.

I have been working on my leg-breaks. I had some practice sessions before the tournament and Surya bhai said to express myself.

It was fun. We didn't feel the nerves. We found it in funny way. I was confident that Siraj bhai would bowl the final over. But Surya bhai came and rolled his arm over. We have been ruthless but are having fun in the middle and really happy with the result."

The Indian captain and vice-captain walk out. Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill will be taking India home. 

Sri Lanka have been all out here on just two. Pin-drop silence in the stadium as Nissanka hits one straight to deep mid wicket. The batter is in pure disbelief. India need to score just 3 runs off their Super Over to whitewash Sri Lanka in the T20Is.

Kusal Perera falls to off-spin for the second time in the day. After getting out to Rinku, he hands his wicket to Washi Sundar. And takes another wicket on the next ball. 

Washi starts off with a wide delivery!! Follows with a length ball that gets swept to deep square for a single.

Rinku moves to his left, keeps his eyes on the ball and takes a safe catch off his own bowling. The game has turned again, the momentum in India's way. Perera falls for 46. 

12 runs off Khaleel's 3rd over. He has turned game in Sri Lanka's favour. Here comes the golden boy, Rinku Singh. SL need 9 off the last two overs.

Ramesh Mendis is in at 6 and will face the hat-trick ball and he survives on that.

A pretty soft dismissal this one. Nissanka has chipped this one straight to long on. Nissanka comes down the pitch but fails to get close to the pitch of the ball. He still goes through the lofted stroke and ends up fetching it from outside off. No timing on the stroke as he chips it off the inner half of the bat towards long on. Straight down the throat of Riyan Parag in the deep, who doesn't make any mistakes.

Both the pacers are breathing fire at the moment. It is getting very tough for the Sri Lankan openers, and as I wrote that Khaleel got the smacking from Nissanka. Back to back boundaries from Nissanka's blade - both through mid-wicket. 

Siraj is here to showcase his Miyan Magic!!! AND HE STARTS WITH A PEACH. Nissanka somehow survives on that one.

Easiest of stumpings for Kusal Mendis and the partnership is broken. Gill departs after a 37-ball 39. He steps down the ground, reaching for the ball. But a canny Hasaranga bowls it wide and gets it spin away from the Indian vice-captain. Gill gets beaten by pace and variation, Mendis does the rest behind the stumps. India lose their 6th wicket as Hasaranga gets his first of the night!

Shot, man - That's what Robin Uthappa yelled after Riyan Parag dispatched an overpitched delivery over mid-on. Parag gets underneath it to powerfully slam it downtown. Gets under it and smacks it through the line to the left of long on for a boundary after 33 balls.

Injury update: Pathirana's right shoulder has been completely strapped. He is sitting in the dug-out at the moment.

Strong wind blowing across should blow away the concerning clouds but there could be intermittent showers. We're on a new pitch, right next to the one used in the last two games. This is drier, the cracks are evident so it is going to turn. Slower balls are going to be effective. There's dew, the ball will come back wet and slide. You are certainly wanting to chase. Pitch should hold up 160-170 is the total you're looking for. The slower you bowl, the harder it will be for strokeplay. Dew is going to make it very hard to grip the ball.
