The 22-year-old left-handed batter, Yashasvi Jaiswal, emerged as the bulwark of India's triumph, etching his name in the books of Test cricket history. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been the most threatening opposition player for England in the ongoing Test series between India and England. Having scored 618 runs in seven innings so far, including two back-to-back double-hundreds. Often have England managed to get snare wickets from the other end of the crease, but Jaiswal's ability to take the game deep with big knocks has left them frustrating. 

On Saturday afternoon on Day 2 of the second Test at Ranchi England broke into a triumphant celebration after Ollie Robinson managed to draw an edge from the young India opener when he was on 40, resulting in the ball dipping low towards wicketkeeper Ben Foakes. 

However, the third umpire's decision on Jaiswal left England captain Ben Stokes and the team flabbergasted.

England's team erupted in celebration, recognizing the potential significance of dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had been a formidable presence at the crease. Captain Ben Stokes, in particular, expressed disbelief at the turn of events, reflecting the team's conviction in the dismissal. Jaiswal made sure he capitalised on the opportunity and scored a brilliant 73, before getting dismissed by Shoaib Bashir.
