The Miami Lions and the Boca Raton Trailblazers faced each other in the 2nd match of the Max60 2024. This game was played at the Jimmy Powell Oval in Cayman Islands on August 19 at 12:00 AM IST. 

Beau Webster lead his team to a formidable total

The Boca Raton Trailblazers won the toss in the game and opted to bat first. David Warner and Beau Webster opened the innings for the Trailblazers and gave them a solid start. Although David Warner was not able to get off the blocks, Beau Webster took the assault to the Miami bowlers. 

Webster scored 82 runs off 36 deliveries and ensured that his team reached a formidable total of 119/4 in their 10 overs. Webster slammed Conroy Wright for two massive maximums in the eighth over destroyed the moral of the bowler. 

Webster delivered with the ball too

The Miami Lions had a power-packed batting line-up and they tried to chase down the target. However, despite taking the attack to the opposition bowlers, the Lions could not go past the victory line. They managed to score 96/5 in their 10 overs and lost the game by 23 runs. Corey Anderson was the top scorer for the Miami Lions with 28 off 20.

Beau Webster delivered with the ball too, as he picked up two wickets conceding 19 runs from his two overs.
