The Hundred 2024 Men's saw the Oval Invincibles defend their title and win the tournament for a second time. This season of the The Hundred remained witnesses some great performances by the players involved. Amidst some brilliant shows by the players, let us have a look at the Team of The Tournament for this edition. 

Openers

James Vince (SOB) (C) and Ben Duckett (BPH)

The skipper of the Southern Brave, James Vince led his team with brilliant batting performances throughout the tournament. The English opener scored 424 Runs in 10 matches at an average of 53.00 and a strike rate of 142.76. 

The English opener did not play the first two games as he was away on a national duty. But after his return to the Birmingham Phoenix, Ben Duckett scored runs at a great rate and did it consistently. The English batter scored 269 runs in seven matches at an average of 67.25 and an average of 171.33.

Middle-order

Nicholas Pooran (WK) (NOS), Jordan Cox (OVI) and Sam Curran (OVI)

The West Indian wicketkeeper batter, Nicholas Pooran looked in a good touch with the bat throughout the tournament. He scored 227 runs in seven innings at an average of 45.40 and a strike rate of 150.33.

The English top-order batter, Jordan Cox had a great season with the bat. He scored 214 runs in the tournament in seven innings at an average of 42.80 and a strike rate of 143.62. 

The English all-rounder, Sam Curran had a great tournament with both the bat and the ball. He scored 201 runs in nine matches at an average of 40.20 and also picked up 17 wickets in the tournament. Sam Curran was one of the prime reasons behind the title winning run of the Oval Invincibles.

All-rounders

Jacob Bethell (BPH) and Chris Jordan (SOB)

The English all-rounder, Jacob Bethell did a good job with the bat in the lower-order throughout the tournament. He scored 166 runs in nine matches at an average of 33.20 and a strike rate of 132.80. He is also a decent bowler, however, the team did not use his bowling abilities during the tournament. 

The English death-over specialist picked up 15 wickets in the tournament from 10 matches. Chris Jordan also played a couple of good knocks with the bat and proved his utility as an efficient all-rounder. 

Spinners

Adam Zampa (OVI) and Akeal Hosein (SOB)

The Australian leg-spinner was consistent throughout the tournament and proved why is one of the best in this format of the game. Adam Zampa picked up 19 wickets in the tournament from nine games while conceding runs at an economy of 7.33. He finished the tournament as the joint highest wicket-taker in The Hundred 2024. 

The West Indian, left-arm spinner was efficient throughout the tournament. Akeal Hosein had 12 wickets in the tournament from nine games. 

Pacers

Tymal Mills (SOB) and Tim Southee (BPH)

The English left-arm pacer, Tymal Mills was one of the main reasons that the Southern Brave made it to the summit clash of the tournament. The death-over specialist picked up 19 wickets in the tournament and was the joint highest wicket taker along with Adam Zampa. 

The veteran Kiwi pacer, Tim Southee had a great time with the ball. He extracted movement from the English tracks and finished the tournament with 14 wickets in nine matches, while conceding runs at an economy of 6.81.
