The Hundred 2024 Women's came to a conclusion with the London Spirit lifting their maiden title. The Heather Knight-led team had to face a resilient Welsh Fire on the night of the final. It was final that suited the occasion, however, the Spirit showed better composure and held their nerves at the crucial stages to lay their hands on the trophy.

Over the duration of the tournament, we saw some great performances from different individuals. The brilliance of all the players took the tournament to a new level and thus we witnessed a highly competitive and skill-enriched competition. Openers

Hayley Matthews (WEF-W) and Georgia Redmayne (LNS-W) (WK)

The West Indian star all-rounder, Hayley Matthews had a decent tournament with both bat and the ball. In eight matches, she scored 198 runs at an average of 33.00 and also picked up 11 wickets. 

Georgia Redmayne was an integral part of the London Spirit batting in the team. She played some crucial knocks in the tournament, especially the one in the Eliminator. In 10 matches, Redmayne scored 229 runs at an average of 28.62 with two half-centuries. 

Middle-order

Nat Sciver-Brunt (TRT-W), Heather Knight (LNS-W) (C) and Annabel Sutherland (NOS-W)

Nat Sciver-Brunt had a stellar season and emerged as the highest run scorer of the tournament. The star English all-rounder scored 303 runs in eight matches at an average of 60.60 with three half-centuries. She also chipped in with six wickets with the ball. 

Heather Knight, the skipper of the London Spirit, was the backbone of the London Spirit batting line-up. The experienced English star scored 271 runs in 10 innings at an average of 45.16 and a strike rate of 137.56. 

Annabel Sutherland did not have the best of the tournaments as per her standards. Yet, the Australian all-rounder came up with some game-changing performances with both her trade. In seven games, Sutherland scored 212 runs at an average of 35.33 and also picked up 10 wickets. 

All-rounders

Marizanne Kapp (OVI-W), Jess Jonassen (WEF-W) and Deepti Sharma (LNS-W)

The experienced South African all-rounder, Marizanne Kapp had a great time in The Hundred 2024 Women's. She showed her skills with the ball and also delivered with the bat whenever the team needed it off her. In nine games, Kapp picked up 11 wickets at an economy of just 5.92 and also scored 207 runs at an average of 51.75. 

Jess Jonassen was the star of the Welsh Fire team with both the bat and ball. Besides scoring 176 runs at an average of 44.00 in eight matches and picking up 12 wickets at an economy of 6.62, Jonassen played a crucial knock in the final that kept her team in the fight till the end of the game. 

Deepti Sharma was not a part of the London Spirit team in the first couple of games. But she changed the whole team around since her arrival. Be it with the bat or the ball, Deepti Sharma delivered under pressure and was one of the prime reasons behind the Spirit winning the trophy. The Indian all-rounder scored 212 runs in eight matches at an average of 212.00 and a strike rate of 132.50, while picking up eight wickets at an economy of 6.85.

Bowlers

Freya Davies (WEF-W), Sarah Glenn (LNS-W) and Linsey Smith (NOS-W)

Freya Davies was the leader of the Welsh Fire bowling unit. She looked consistent with the ball throughout the tournament picking up 11 wickets in eight matches with an economy of 5.65.

The experienced English spinner, Sarah Glenn played a crucial role in the bowling of the London Spirit. Her 13 wickets in 10 matches while giving away runs at an economy of just 6.80 was very crucial in her team winning the tournament. 

The English left-arm spinner, Linsey Smith, finished the tournament with the most number of wickets. Her incredible show of 15 wickets in seven matches earns her a place in the team of the tournament.
