In the ongoing 2nd ODI between South African women and England women at the Kingsmead ground in Durban, the hosts are in deep trouble. The visitors won the toss and asked South Africa to bat first. The decision turned out to be a masterstroke as England restricted the Proteas to just 135 runs.

Charlie Dean and Lauren Filer were the architects of this collapse as Dean took a four-wicket haul while Lauren registered three scalps to her name. Talking about Lauren, she was breathing fire as all her dismissals came in the form of rattling the stumps. 

Filer Bowls A Peach Of A Delivery

Filer bowled several peach of deliveries in the ongoing match, but the one that stood out from the rest was the one bowled to Sune Luus. On the 2nd ball of the 3rd over, Filer bowled a fiery delivery pitched at a good length. The ball nipped back and it went past the gap between bat and pad to uproot the middle and leg stump.  

Filer's Delivery Reminds Of Bumrah's Magical Yorker

It was not a yorker but it reminded fans of the magical ball Jasprit Bumrah bowled to Ollie Pope that also uprooted the stumps in a similar manner. Further shedding light on Filer's heroics, the Luus wicket was not the only time she sent the stumps cartwheeling as she had also striked in her first over.

Lauren bowled a similar delivery to Tazmin Brits and it sent the middle stump rolling over to give the perfect start to England in the match. It is worth noting that South Africa lead the three-match series 1-0 and it is a do-or-die game for England.
