USA's India-born pacer Saurabh Netravalkar was on his knees after he successfully defended a 18-run total in the Super Over against Pakistan in Match 11 of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 at Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas.
It was a historic win for the co-hosts, while the Men in Green, led by Babar Azam, left embarrassed.
Coming to defend 7 runs off the final over, Netravalkar kept his nerve of steel against Shadab Khan, and conceded only one run. A six on the last ball would allow both teams to go for Super Over once more, but Netravalkar did not allow him to make it happen.
No wonder emotions were running high through everyone's veins from the USA, whether they were the players or the support staff.
