The left-arm quick dismissed USA skipper Monank Patel just when he reached the half-century and was about to break the shackles.
Nevertheless, it was a brilliant catch by Mohammad Rizwan who helped Amir to claim the much-needed wicket for the Men in Green.
It was a length delivery by Amir, which angled across sharply. It was too smart for Patel, who was batting on 50 off 38 balls. Rizwan saw the faint edge coming at him, and dived forward to claim a sharp catch with the big gloves.
