Aaron Jones, who was the star in USA's opening match against Canada, shone again for his side after he smashed a six off the fourth ball. After a single on the fifth delivery, USA required five to win off the final delivery. On the last ball, Haris lost his length and bowled a full-toss, which went for a four. 

After the boundary, the camera panned towards Babar Azam, who was visibly angry and lost his cool over his players. Particularly, he was angry on Rauf for his loose delivery. Here is the video of Babar shouting at Haris Rauf after the match went into super over. 


As the game went to Super Over, Mohammad Amir bowled it for Pakistan, and ended up bowling too many wides and freebies as USA raced to 18 runs. 

The Indian-born Saurabh Netravalkar was given the duty to become the hero, and he kept his nerves by delivering the knockout punch against the likes of Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan and Fakhar Azam.

With Pakistan losing their opening game, the Super 8 doors have opened for teams like Ireland and USA to proceed further in the T20 World Cup 2024.
