[Watch] USA's Nitish Kumar, Aaron Jones Force A Super Over Against Babar Azam's Pakistan

In T20 World Cup 2024, USA have forced a super over against the Babar Azam-led Pakistan. Haris Rauf went for as many as two boundaries in last three deliveries as Nitish Kumar and Aaron Jones tonked the Pakistan quick across the park. 

Talking about the first innings, Pakistan set a target of 160 for the home-team to chase. The Men In Green faltered right from the start and it continued in the second innings as they failed to scalp a single wicket until 36 runs. 

Monank Patel's brilliant half century along with good cameos from Aaron Jones and Andries Gous helped the team force visitors for a super over.

As per the Super Over's rules, Team USA have come out bat first against Pakistan Mohammad Amir. Meanwhile, for the co-hosts, Aaron Jones and Harmeet Singh stride out to bat. 

In the super over, Jones batted on all six deliveries against an erring Amir, who bowled quite a few wides and allowed the batter to free his arms as well. In the end, the co-hosts smashed a total of 18 runs against the Men in Green.

In Pakistan's innings, Fakhar Zaman and Iftikhar Ahmed came to bat, while Saurabh Netravalkar got the duty with the ball.  

Tensions grew because Netravalkar bowled one too many wides however at the end of it United States of America won the super over.
