The Pakistan cricket team is currently in South Africa and are fighting it out with the home team at Newlands, Cape Town in what is turning out to be a difficult series for them. The Proteas won the first game of the series and qualified for the WTC final, and have been made to follow-on in the second Test.

Pakistan are fighting hard in their second innings and one of the postivies for them has been the twin fifties from Babar Azam. The star batter scored 58 in the first innings and then hit 81 in the second innings to please lot of fans who have been hoping for a good performance from their favourite player.

Pakistan Fightback In Cape Town After Follow-On

Babar fell at the backend of Day 3 and as day 4 began, the star batter looked quite chill and relaxed while sitting in the dressing room with his teammates. During Marco Jansen's 14th over, Babar Azam was seen performing funny antics with his binoculars. The former Pakistan skipper was trying to spot something with his binoculars and came up with quite funny reactions that brought smiles on the faces of people around him.

The star right-handed batter faced lot of criticism due to his poor form in 2024, but has started the new year on a positive note and would be hoping to continue the form in upcoming matches. He would be a key player for Pakistan in Champions Trophy 2025, and would be looking to prove his distractors wrong with a big performance.
