The Indian cricket team clinched the three-match ODI series against South Africa with a brilliant all-round performance at Boland Park in Paarl. It was going well for the African side during the run-chase until their in-form batter, Tony de Zorzi, got dismissed by Arshdeep Singh.

Zorzi is the same man whose blazing hundred took the second ODI away from India as his century helped the hosts level the series. In the third game also, the southpaw was batting exceptionally well on the score of 81 when Arshdeep's delivery missed his bat and struck the pads.

However, the massive appeal that followed was turned down by the umpire, who felt it might be going down the leg. As soon as this happened, skipper KL Rahul went upstairs with the review, and meanwhile, Arshdeep suggested that the ball was hitting the stumps.

The replays and ball-tracking established the same as there was no inside edge, and the ball crashed onto the leg stump, prompting the on-field umpire to change his decision from not out to out the moment it displayed three reds.

This caused the Proteas to lose their momentum as they were 161/3 before that delivery in the 30th over and, later, were bowled out for 218.
