Before Virat Kohli's marriage to Anushka Sharma became one of the most talked-about weddings, there was a stage in Kohli's life where he was repeatedly connected with the entertainment world. During this time, one notable 'relationship' that drew public attention was his friendship with Ritika Sajdeh, now the wife of India's World Cup-winning captain, Rohit Sharma.

The story of Virat Kohli and Ritika Sajdeh began in 2010 during the Indian Premier League (IPL). Ritika, who was a sports talent manager, was handling Virat's representation at that time. Their professional relationship naturally grew into a close friendship since Kohli was also closest of friends with Ritika's brother, Bunty Sajdeh, long ago. Bunty played a crucial role in Virat's early career, helping him secure numerous brand endorsements that significantly contributed to Kohli's net-worth.

Kohli-Ritika spotted on a movie date

In 2013, the media caught wind of a new development after India's successful series against Zimbabwe, Kohli was spotted in Mumbai with a 'mystery girl,' who later turned out to be Ritika Sajdeh. Their public appearances, including a movie date that year, quickly became a subject of fascination for fans, who started linking the duo. 

Their close relationship was well-known within cricket and entertainment circles, but the intensity of media scrutiny only increased as their frequent outings made headlines. Despite their growing visibility, Kohli and Ritika maintained that they were merely friends, although speculations about a romantic link persisted frequently.

Ultimately, Virat's relationship with Ritika Sajdeh remained platonic, and he married popular Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma in December 2017. Kohli and his wife Anushka, now have an adorable family: daughter Vamika Kohli and son Akaay Kohli. 

Are Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh expecting another baby?

Ritika, meanwhile, married Rohit Sharma in 2015, and later on in 2018 they were also blessed with a baby girl, Samaira Sharma. However, new speculation has suddenly gained momentum, as at a recent event, Ritika Sajdeh's pictures went viral, suggesting that the ODI and Test captain is expected to become a father yet again. 

However, it must be noted that there is no official confirmation about this news, as neither Rohit nor Ritika have come forward with a statement.
